The day after snow school Shelley and I went out to the AWS site at Willie Field. At this site there is an official weather stations and a test weather station. Our job was to remove the instruments from the test station so that they could be used in another location. To get there, we took one of Antarctica's most luxurious forms of transportation, a Pisten Bully. As you can see in the picture above, this vehicle is great for the snow. It was snowing, windy and cold that day, but we were toasty warm inside the Pisten.
